The Great Hall

The main hall of Stockholm Palace.

King Gustav and Queen Mary started their dance. The first dance as husband and wife will always be very special. But I believe that I will enjoy every dance after this as long as I am dancing with you. .

As the King and Queen danced it was now time for everyone else to step up and dance and so I took Katherine's hand.

"Shall we dance, Katherine?

I entered the dancefloor with Anne beside me and I spoke to her.

"Anne, shall we dance a traditional English dance?

As I began to dance with Mary, I gave the signal to everyone and at that point they all entered the dancefloor. I was about to start a traditional dance with Mary.

As King Henry was dance with Anne, I rose to the dancefloor and took my sister Mary's hand.

"Shall we dance Mary?

I was sat at the table in the great hall as I watched my son Gustav have his first ever dance with his new Queen. I was so happy for him.

I was really enjoying this fine day. My brother Gustav, now had a new wife and he was enjoying his first dance with her. I was sat at the table in the Great Hall and watched as he danced. I could not wait to meet my new sister-in-law properly.

I was seated at the grand table in the Great Hall alongside my mother and sister as we watched King Gustav dancing for the first time with his new wife. I began to drink some wine and could not quite believe the day had finally come that Sweden had a new Queen. I so wanted to get to know her more, after all she was the new Queen and my new sister-in-law.

I saw that the guests came to the dancefloor. I noticed that my sisters-in-law and my mother -ln-law was still at their seats. I looked at Gustav and asked Why are my new family not dancing. Are they waiting to dance with us .

I stood up to take George's hand. Yes of course George

I took Charles's hands Of course Charles

I got up and happily danced beside everyone with Anne and I promised my sister that she would get a dance with me too.

I smiled at Mary as we danced then looked over to the table where my family sat.

"Mary, after our dance I promised my sister Agnetha and my mother Magda a dance, but my sister Rebecca, she will not be dancing due to her riding accident last year.

I took Katherine's hand and led her to the dancefloor. We were to dance the same traditional dance King Henry was doing.

"Katherine, shall we do the same dance as our King Henry?

I take my sister's hand.

"Shall we start, Mary?

I am so sorry that Rebecca had a riding accident. Well I am to dance with my brother. Everyone looks amazing today. I thank you for making this a wonderful day my husband. .

That is a wonderful idea Charles. If I didn't tell you before, you look very handsome .

I started to dance my traditional English dance with Anne and I could only hope that King Gustav liked it.

I must thank Henry for this wonderful as well but I wanted to tell you that you made it special. Ah yes Henry does look very handsome today. But I wanted to ask you if it is okay that I have a dance with Charles Brandon later in the day. And I hope that if you would be so kind as to dance with his wife Katherine. They are so happy to meet you and I promised that I would ask you. But I will understand if you said no. .

King Henry looks happy and Queen Anne looks lovely. I wonder when will Henry dances with Queen Mary.

I looked towards King Henry and Queen Anne as the music for the first dance stopped and I took Katherine's hand and together we concluded our dance. It was now time to change partners. King Henry was about to dance with his sister Mary.
