Stockholm Palace is the official residence of the Swedish Monarch. Constructed in the late 17th century but not completed until the mid 18th century. The palace contains offices of the King of Sweden and other important members of the Royal Family.

The King's Rooms at Stockholm Palace were those rooms that belonged to the King and this was were he would also have his private rooms for royal use only and also those were he would meet with his guests.

The Queens Rooms at the Palace would include her own private chambers and also those that she would meet guests in. These chambers number the same amount as those of the king.

There were a vast number of bedchambers at Stockholm most of which were reserved for visiting guests.

Stockholm Palace had many great number of halls and rooms and all of which were finely decorated.

The great gardens of the palace were filled with fine flowers and also had some very nice statues and water features too.

Drottingholm Castle is the private residence of the Swedish Royal Family. The castle was built by John III in 1580 for his Queen and it served mainly as the private summer residence of the monarchs for most centuries.

Drottingholm Castle had many great rooms. The theatre was just one of these rooms.

The were many nice rooms at Drottingholm Palace.

The beautiful gardens of Drottinghom covered many acres and were filled with lots of colour too.
