Arrival of Mary Boleyn

I stood behind Natalia as she answered Lady Mary's question. So far she seems like a kind person.

I looked at both of the sisters then spoke.

"I am sorry to hear that your mother is unwell. I do hope that she will regain her strength and health soon.

I thought to myself where is Alexei. He knows that Lady Mary is here. So what is keeping him. I do not what to do or say. I know that she must be wondering what is happening.

I had finally got back to meet Mary Boleyn.

"Lady Mary, please do forgive my delay in coming here. I had to get something for you which I can now present to you. I say to her handing her a small jewellery box.

Finally Alexei is here. Now I know why had stepped away. Smiling . There you are.

Well Alexei is here and with a gift. I smile.

Alexei you are here. I smiled and I see that he has a gift. . Oh Alexei you did not have to get me this but I thank you. I take the box and I open it and gasped. It is very beautiful. and I hugged him tightly and tears fall from my eyes.

I am so touched by his gift.  It is a very beautiful necklace. He thinks of me so highly.  George must be so surprised. When we return to England Father, Uncle and especially Anne will also be surprised.  I believe that he cares a great deal about me.  I just want him to see me and be proud that I could be his wife.  To be worthy of his love.

I hugged Mary back.

I wanted to get you something nice as I feel that you deserve this Mary. I do hope very much to have you as my wife should our families approve.

I smiled at Alexei and I curtsey to him.. I thank you for this beautiful gift and I too wish to be your wife. I looked at George.. I will cherish this always.

I looked at Alexei and Elena. Listening to Lady Mary and she seems to truly be touched by his gift. A truly beautiful gift for a beautiful person. I hope that she will become Alexei's wife.

Alexei's gift was amazing. I do not remember him feeling for someone the way he seems to feel for Lady Mary. I think that his feelings for her is authentic and she for she for him.

I smiled at Lady Mary.

"I am so pleased that you like my gift Mary. I do believe that we are meant for each other.

I look at Alexei . I truly appreciate your gift. This is the most beautiful gift I have ever been given. I believe that you and I will make a wonderful match. I would love to see how much we have in common

Listening to Lady Mary Boleyn is lovely lady. I would love to know more about her. Alexei has been waiting for a woman to be there for him and love him for who he is. Alexei is a wonderful man and he deserves a good woman to love him truly.

I smiled at Lady Mary.

"I would very much like to get to know you better as well. We will have to meet with my parents too, who can be quite scary at times. How do you like Ukraine so far?

I blush as I looked at Alexei.  I could not believe my luck to find a man that could love me and respect me.

 Of course we should talk to your parents about this but I also must also get permission for a marriage from King Henry and Queen Anne of England.  Do you think that you could travel to England just so that he and my family could meet you as well.  I would understand if you would rather not go

I smile at Alexei and then at Lady Mary. I give my brother a hug then I hugged Mary.

The Lady Mary Boleyn has entered Alexei's heart. I have never seen him this happy in a long. It is so good to see him happy. If the Lady Mary Boleyn can make him smile then that is all that matters

I can see Elena smile. She is thinking about the same as I am. Alexei is smitten with the Lady Mary Boleyn and she is smitten with him. I can see that they will make each other happy.

I gave Natalia and Elena hugs.  They have all been very kind to me. But I am frightened.  Alexei is a wonderful man and he comes from a royal bloodline and I am King Henry's former mistress.  I am afraid that this is a dream.  A wonderful dream of a prince who could be in love with me.  What if his parents do not approve of me.  King Henry, Father and Uncle what if they do not approve.  What if Anne will not give her blessing.  We have never been close.  Not like she is with George.  They are close.  My life and my happiness is left in the hands of others. I have no control over my life at this moment.  It hinges on the will of my family, the King and Alexei's family.  But most of all,  my happiness hinges on the love of Alexei.  May this love is genuine. That it is the real me that he loves.
