Main Entrance

I looked across at Mary as she held my hand and gestured to me that she wished to lay down.

"Mary, my love are you alright? Of course you may retire to your Chambers. This is an important time,  Agnetha will kindly accompany you to your Chambers Mary. I will come and see you later.

I looked at Queen Mary as she spoke to me and I could see that she was not feeling well.

"Queen Mary, please you do not need to be sorry at all. Take as much rest as you need. I shall send my physician to see you soon. Princess Agnetha, you are most kind in escorting her to the chambers I had prepared. I hope you get well soon Mary.

. Mary do not worry. I am going to help you go upstairs. I hold on to Mary's hand because she seems weak on her feet

. Excuse me Katherine, Queen Charlotte is it possible if I could have a private word with you Queen Charlotte.  I am sorry Katherine for interrupting you thank you.for understanding  I walk over with Queen Charlotte to the other side of the room.  . Queen Charlotte I really do not mean to put this on you.  I know that you are here on other business but I must ask. I little while back Elizabeth. Cassandra Pennyfeather and Queen Marie of Luxembourg came for an audience with my brother.  I do not really know why Elizabeth wanted to introduce herself to Marius.  Ever since she came my brother is different.  Elizabeth is always standing next to Marius.  Almost as if she wants to make sure that he would say or do anything she did not like.  I am afraid for my brother and for our other guests.  She does not want Princess Rebecca marry him.  I sense that something is wrong here.  I wonder is there any way I can get her away from Marius and keep her from the Swedish family.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  You know her best.  What can do to get Marius away from Elizabeth.  I looked at the Hungarian Queen desperate for her assistance.

Christine asked to privately speak to Queen Charlotte. So I thought that this would be a good time to check on Aunt Mary.

I feel as if I should go to see Mary but right now I just want to continue to get to know Marius. . I feel a little guilty for wanting to stay here talking to you and Mary is feeling ill. I can check in on her later after the physician sees her. But please tell me more about yourself

I go to the main entrance where King Marius and Princess Rebecca were sitting.  They look so good together.  I am so happy for them.  I see King Gustav.   Excuse me I touched his arm. .  I wanted to let you know that Aunt Mary asked if she could see you.  She looks pale.   I turned to look at King Marius.    King Marius I wanted to let you know that your physician has not seen Queen Mary as of yet.  I do not know what keeps him.  We asked Elizabeth to see if she could find him  I looked back to King Gustav and whispered to him. .  I wanted to tell you.  Elizabeth came to Mary's chambers I do not know why she came to the room or what she is doing but it feels odd.

I looked at Katherine. Queen Mary is she alright can I help with something. Marius is smitten with Rebecca and she with him. If there is anything I can do to help please let me know.

I am worried about Mary.  I whispered to Marius.  . Marius is it usual for the physician to take this long to see someone.  Mary did not look very steady when she went to her chambers.  Although I know that Agnetha and Katherine will take care of her.  I look at Katherine. .  When you left Mary how was she.  Maybe I can do something to help.  I feel uncomfortable for being happy here when she is ill in her room.

Rebecca looks worried. . You do not have to worry about Mary. She is laying down and resting with her eyes closed. Right now I do not know if there is anything that you can do. We will have to wait for the physician to see her. Even Elizabeth is up there standing outside her door. There is even a man that is standing there as well. So she is well protected.

Why is Elizabeth doing? And why is her bodyguard there. Katherine did you say that Elizabeth is visiting Mary and a man standing there. That man is Elizabeth's bodyguard, Matthew Brown. I looked at Marius. . Perhaps you and King Gustav should go to see what is Elizabeth and Matthew are doing

I looked at Katherine as she entered to tell us how Mary was.

"The physician is yet to arrive? What is keeping him? Elizabeth, I am sure that she will be able to sort it out so please do not worry to much. It is likely the physician has been delayed due to the recent floods on the roads.

I looked towards Rebecca.

"I have never known the physician to take this long to arrive to see someone. I will try to find out what is happening.

I looked towards my sister.

"Christine, maybe you are right. I think that I should go and visit Mary and find out what is happening there. I am sure that it is just concern from Elizabeth and besides Matthew Brown knows that no male except for royalty can enter the private chambers of another monarch.

I looked towards Katherine as she touched my arm.

"Thank you Katherine for letting me know. I shall go and see her at once and what business does that Duchess have with Mary? Is there any news on Mary's condition Katherine?

I looked at Princess Rebecca.

"Princess Rebecca, I would very much like to get to know you more as well. Shall we talk upon the return from Mary's chambers and get to know each other?

I could see that Christine was really concerned about the well being of her brother the king. I comforted her and then looked into her eyes before I spoke in a calm tone.

"Princess Christine, I can understand how concerned you must be with everything regarding your brother. I have noticed that he does seem to avoid any remarks when he is spoken to about Elizabeth. My sister is always crazy for power. It would not surprise me that she might try something. I may know a way, she may have a control over him but knowing my sister, I think that she may have created some sort of item that she has a hold on him with. Tell me has your brother accidentally bled recently?

I answered slowly. . Queen Charlotte I am not sure actually. I do not know. All I remember is that Elizabeth just one day came here with two of her friends. And now she is here always with my brother.

I held Marius's hand. . Of course. You must visit Mary. When you return we can continue our conversation.

I looked at Christine.

"It is all quite strange. We should, when we get a chance, look deeper into Elizabeth, but for now our concern is with Queen Mary.

I have arrived in Romania. I came to see Elizabeth Hampton. She has asked me if I could here to see her. A servant came to me. . Yes I am Queen Marie and I am here to see the Duchess Elizabeth Hampton. Would you please let her know that I am here

I was informed by one of the servants that Marie was here and I told them to escort her through to my chamber at once.
