She still studied at her age. She was twenty four and still unwed. With all the suitors, one would think she would have been gone years ago but no, her father will use her until the day he drops. 'My studies are well, dearest Majesty. I am taking Sophocles and Aristole and Plato and all the classics as well as Mathematics and lanuages.' The Lady Mary spoke Italian and French and Latin.

The Lady Mary told her father, the King that she was fond of the match, especilly if he willed it. She was his to do with as he wished. If he wished to wed her to Philip, to Philip, she would be wed.

I knew that Mary did not really want to wed Phillip, especially as he was of a different religion to her. I wanted her to be happy.
