Parr Family Together

I was at Whitehall and I was intrigued to find out how Catherine's first encounter with King Henry had gone. I had asked for Anne to come to as it had been too long since I had last seen her. I had some tea prepared and waited for both of my sisters.

The Lady Catherine hath been summoned by her brother, Lord William Parr. She came to his room and knocked upon the door.

My sister had arrived and I had my man servant open the door for her to come in.

The Lady Catherine entered the room and said, "Welcome, brother, how goes it? It has been a while since I saw you, William." She wondered as to where the Lady Anne Parr was, if she was coming at all.

The door was already opened when I arrived. My brother and sister turned to look at me. I performed a graceful curtsy; one I had learned from years at court, before entering. "God's teeth, I made it just in time." I mumbled to myself.

The Lady Catherine smiled at her sister. It was good to see Anne. She had not seen her in quite a while.

I smiled at both of my sisters as they entered the room.

"Catherine, I do fair well thank you. It has been a while since I last saw you. How are things with the King? Anne, how fares you?

'Things are well with the King, brother.' Anne seemed strange thought Catherine but then Anne always went her own way.

'My relationship with my stepchilren is well, thanks for asking, William.' Anne is unusally quite. She hopes nothing is bothering her.

'It sad that you are burdened with the likes of Anne Bourchier who is an inadequite wife for you. I hope you get your Elizabeth Brooks, dear brother.'
