I am currently on my way to see Anne to inform her that I will be coming with you to Ukraine as you asked. Did Henry give you his blessing and permission? Have you told father and uncle about this?

Dear George,

I spoke with King Henry and he had informed me that Father and Uncle has suggested another match.  But I made my case to the King.  He gave his permission for my visit to the Ukraine and he would speak to Father and Uncle. The King would also like to meet Alexei.

Sister,

You must have really put a good case to King Henry for him to go against our family wishes. Did Anne give you her blessing for this match?

George

Brother,

Yes I did. When I saw him he was practicing archery. I was escorted to him and he asked if would like to try shooting an arrow while we talked. I did pretty well at archery. That is when he told me about Father and Uncle. But I told the King that my match with Alexei would be more advantageous to have an alliance with Ukraine and he agreed. Since Anne agreed he gave his blessings and that he would speak to Father and Uncle since he had not given his blessings to them yet. The also would like to meet Alexei as well. I also told him that you were coming with me.

Mary,

Surely you did not try to challenge the King to archery, we all know how much of an expert archer he is? The way you spoke to him Mary, you would do well with a career in politics the way you suggested how advantageous it could be. I have been in contact with uncle and have shown him the portrait of Alexei. I will speak with him. We must leave soon.

George

George,

I would never challenge the King to a contest. When I went to see him he was at the archery targets. He asked me if I wanted to give a try. He knew that I like the sport and that I was good. So he suggested that as we talked we can shoot. Thank you for the compliment. But I know that I would do well in politics. I am ready whenever you are. Everything has been packed.

I am ready to leave with you now if you are. I will keep father and uncle updated, so do not worry about them.

George

I am ready to leave thank you for agreeing to escort me to the Ukraine. Uncle is not particularly happy about me going so far away. He thinks that I should stay in England. So appreciate you wanting to keep Father and Uncle appraised of our visit.

You are welcome. I would only ever want to keep you safe. Uncle is just concerned about you but don't worry about it, I want you to enjoy yourself Mary.

George

George,

Are you ready to go Ukraine I am sure that the travel there will be hard at times but I am excited to see him again.  I want you to meet him and I hope that you will like him.  He is a good match for me . I hope that you will agree.

I am ready to leave for the Ukraine. I never got the chance to meet Alexei before. I just hope that he is right for you Mary. Anne will likely want to meet him too.

Look we are finally here in the Ukraine. Prince Alexei has sent a carriage to take us to the palace. I can see him again and his sisters. I am so excited.
