The Main Entrance

The entrance to the palace.

Netherlands court all ran to the gate to met a visit their court. Everyone went quiet and started to bow and curtsy as the queen Juliet of Netherlands walked out with guards and her ladies in waiting.

I was visiting the Netherlands and I was meeting the King and Queen and their daughter Juliet hoping that we could agree an alliance between our countries. I arrived and got out of the carriage and met with the royal family. The princess Juliet was young and very beautiful on the eye. I bend down and kiss her hand.

"Your majesties and princess Juliet I am honoured to be here at your court and thank you for inviting me. I am Duke Richard, Lord Protector of England"

Juliet stood up as well as her ladies and everyone. "Well my daughter is happy to be able to find a husband."The king said to the Duke.

I smiled at them and the young princess.

"A fine age princess. I myself have a son who is nearly 11 years old would this a fine match for her should she accept of course. I am after all Lord Protector of England your majesty"
