Re: The Private Dining Room
I had received news from my servants that Lady Joanna of Castille was here in my country and I had arranged a feast for her and I sent my servant to inform her of my invitation.

Re: The Private Dining Room
The Lady Joanna of Castile hath received the invitation of Charles de Bourbon and she showed the letter to her husband, Philip. "Philip, Charles de Bourbon sent me an invitation to dine. Should I accept? Joanna of Castile said to her husband.

I looked at the letter carefully.
"Joanna, I think that you should accept. He may see if as offensive if you don't. I shall accompany you there.

"Yes, Philip, I should like for you to accompany there for it is unseemly for a man to invite a married lady into his presence and, I am not only wed, I am the daughter of Ferdinand of Aragon and Isabella of Castile and to be treated with respect." Joanna prepared herself. She went to her chamber and put on a beautiful gown of crimson velvet. She would look well for Charles de Bourbon.
Finally, Joanna of Castile and her husband, Philip made their way to the room Charles' servant indicated that Charles was in. They waited at the door to be let in.

I looked at Joanna as she stood in a beautiful gown.
"I am here with you all the way my love. We must meet this man who is the man who threatens the young Duchess of Luxembourg.

I heard that Joanna and her husband were both here for the dinner. I told the servant to open the door and let them in.

At the door, Juana said, "I am glad that you are with me, Philip for I find it offensive to be invited without you being invited as well"
But when the servant let them, Joanna was at her most charming. "It is so, so good to you. I hope you do not mind if my husband joins us. I know you sent the invite for myself only but I feel better with my husband her. How are you?" She looked at the table and there was all sorts of food like lampreys, beef, chicken, mutton, shrimp, lobster, an assortment of seafood, peas and carrots and potatoes and corn as well as duck and rabbit. "What a fine spread, you hath prepared for us, Monsieur de Bourbon."

I smiled back at Joanna, as we waited to be allowed into the Dining Room.
"I can only agree with you Juana, I too was insulted not to have been invited, but perhaps our host just forgot that you and I were married.

Re: The Private Dining Room
I smiled at Juana, as she entered the dining room. I was however, not as welcoming towards her husband, but I chose not to show my dislike towards him.
"Juana, it is okay, you must forgive me for not inviting your husband too, I had forgotten that you had only recently married. I thank you for accepting my invitation. I do hope that you are hungry after your journey here, I have prepared some traditional Belgian delicacies for you, as well as some of the other food you recognise. I am quite well, thank you for asking, there is just a little matter of my neighbour, which is bothering me, but you need not worry yourself with that, please come and enjoy the feast.

Juana came forth and sat down. She did not know what to say to all that.
