Isabella of Portugal's Study

I had something on my mind that I had wanted to see mother about and also I was concerned for her as recently I had noticed how father was ignoring her. I had come to her study and knocked on her door.

I heard a knock on the door of my study. I had my chambermaid open the door and it was Philip, my son. I am not sure why he is here. The chambermaid escorted him to me.

. Philip dear how are you. For as much as I enjoy our time together may I ask what brings you here to see me. What can I do for you.?

I smiled at my mother before speaking.

"Mother, I wanted to speak to you as I have been assigned this new tutor by father, to teach me the Catholic ways and about politics, but he is so aggressive towards me and I cannot stand him mother. I understand that I need to learn these things, but surely he does not need to be so aggressive. Can you speak with him?

The other thing that concerns me mother, is recently, I have heard many arguments between you and father, when passing his study, is everything okay?

Philip smiled to me as he came to me.  

. Philip who is this tutor.   I can speak to him for you  I am sorry that he is so aggressive to you.  A tutor should be able to help a student not aggravate them.  If you wish I could talk to him.  But why did you not ask your father.  He would have a pull on the tutor.  What is his name perhaps I know of him by his reputation.  Will that help you?

You have a concern for me with your father.  Your father and I are fine.  Yes sometimes are conversations can sound like we are arguing but we are just talking about stately issues.  We usually talk about different options and opportunities for the country. But you do not have to worry about anything.  Everything is fine with us.  I am sorry that you are concerned about this.

. Philip my dear son. I will do whatever I have to to make sure Senor Gomez never bothers you again. Thank you for your concern but your father and I are fine so you need no to worry alright. I will send for Senor Gomez and I can put a stop to this. Tell me is there anything else I need to know about this.
