Balga was a medieval castle of the Teutonic Knights in Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia. The castle ruins are located on the shore of the Vistula Lagoon, north of Mamonovo in the Pogranichny municipality of Bagrationovsky District, about 30 km (19 mi) southwest of Kaliningrad.

The Winter Palace was the official residence of the Russian Emperors from 1732 to 1917. Today, the palace and its precincts form the Hermitage Museum. Situated between Palace Embankment and Palace Square, in Saint Petersburg, adjacent to the site of Peter the Great's original Winter Palace, the present and fourth Winter Palace was built and altered almost continuously between the late 1730s and 1837, when it was severely damaged by fire and immediately rebuilt. The storming of the palace in 1917, as depicted in Soviet propaganda art and Sergei Eisenstein's 1927 film October, became an iconic symbol of the Russian Revolution.

The King did not have as many rooms at the Winter Palace as other kings did from other nations but these were still very grand rooms.

At the Winter Palace the Queen had about the same amount of rooms as the king and both were nice in the decoration.

There were many bedrooms at the winter palace and many were different colours too.

Most of the rooms at the Winter Palace were state rooms but there were other few minor rooms such as a dining room and a music room.

The gardens at the Winter Palace were round in shape and were filled with beautiful plants and flowers. There was also an inside garden too.
