Palacio da Bolsa

The Palacio Da Bolsa is located beside the St Francis Church of Porto which once formed part of the old convent of St Francis founded in the 13th century. Building work on the palace began in 1842 and eventually finished around 1850.

Royal Palace

The Royal palace is an 18th century palace located in Quelez in Portugal. The palace became the main retreat for Queen Maria I of Portugal and her king consort Dom Pedro of Braganza. Work on the Palace began in 1747 and it was even dubbed as the Portuguese Versailles despite being much smaller in size. From 1826 the palace slowly fell from favour with the Portuguese sovereigns.
