Palacio Real
The Palacio Real is the official residence of the monarchs of Spain. The palace was built by Mohammed I between 860 and 880. After the expulsion of the Moors from Toledo the palace continued to be developed by Henry III and also Charles V renovated and extended the palace in 1537.

Kingdom of Navarre
The kingdom of Navarre was originally known as the Kingdom of Pamplona. It was a Basque based Kingdom in the northern part of Spain just south of the Pyrenees. The kingdom began to take form around the city of Pamplona during the days of the Iberian Reconquista.

The Kingdom of Castile was a very large kingdom and powerful state located on the Iberian peninsula. It was joined with the Kingdom of Leon and this became the most powerful Kingdom in Spain overruling that of Aragon. It became collectively known as the Crown of Castile.
